PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to do their lawful duty as provided under law by providing appropriate and adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner to run the shop by taking appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2020.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint, dated 09.11.2020 seeking for police protection and it is pending on the file of the fourth respondent for enquiry.

3. Considering the above, the fourth respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent and dispose of the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to them and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
