This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that on the basis of the complaint lodged by one Karthick Solaimalai, a case has been registered in Crime No.3 of 2024, for the offences under Sections 120(b), 419, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 420 IPC. He further submits that a forged document has been created in respect of the property, belongs to the said Karthick Solaimalai, in which, the petitioner has signed as a witness and therefore, the petitioner was summoned to appear for enquiry. petitioner has filed this petition before registering the case. 3.Considering the said submission, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to issue summons to the petitioner under Section 35(3) BNSS.
