Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the Aadalum Padalum programme on 30.04.2017 in pursuant to the temple of the Arulmigu Om Ganapathi Thirukoil situated at Perumalpatti Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2017.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 17.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

dated 17.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
