O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 3rd and 4th respondents to implement the orders of the Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai passed in his Letter No.Va.Nee 3(5)/32472/2014 dated 11.08.2016 and as per Letter No.16941/2012/E2 dated 22.08.2016 of the Director of Pension, Chennai disbursement of the DCRG of the petitioner, who was allowed to retire on 31.08.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he retired from service on 31.08.2014 and till today, he did not receive the DCRG sanctioned by the Accountant General, Chennai in his letter No.P01/10113516/1/PPO No.R0113516/REV dated 18.12.2015; that in the sanction order dated 18.12.2015, the designation of the Drawing Officer was mistakenly mentioned as Additional Commissioner (Revenue Administration), Coimbatore instead of Assistant Commissioner (ULT), Coimbatore and based on his representation, the said mistake was rectified, but the total amount of DCRG was wrongly mentioned as Rs.6,10,239/- instead of Rs.9,10,239/-; even though the Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai directed the Assistant Commissioner (ULT) Coimbatore / 4th respondent herein to take quick action for disbursement of the DCRG to him, the 4th respondent has not taken any steps so far to implement the orders of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai, which forced the petitioner to file this present writ petition.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that DCRG has already been sanctioned and the amount will be disbursed to the petitioner by the 4th respondent herein shortly.

5. In view of the above submission, the 4th respondent is directed to disburse the amount to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
