Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to re-convey the land comprised in S.No.346/1 to the extent of 1 acre 39 cents situated at Therkkutheru Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, to the petitioner, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2018.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of mandamus directing the respondents to re-convey the land comprised in S.No.346/1 to the extent of 1 acre 39 cents situated at Therkkutheru Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, to the petitioner, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2018.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petition mentioned property belonged to her father, namely, late Veeranan. Her father, who was one of the member in the sixth respondent society, had avaied an agricultural loan for a sum of Rs.1,125/- from the sixth respondent society in the year 1967, and he had not discharged the said loan. Therefore, the petition mentioned property was set off by the sixth respondent society towards the said arrears by executing sale deed in
Doc.No.653/1967 dated 13.06.1967. In the year 1990, all the agricultural loans were cancelled/waived off by the Government. Thereafter, the petitioner's father had passed away in the year 2006. On 12.01.2010, the petitioner's brother, who was practicing advocate, gave a petition before the fourth respondent to reconvey the said land. Thereafter, the fourth respondent vide his proceedings dated 18.01.2016 informed the petitioner's brother that the patta in respect of the subject land does not stand in the name of his father, Veeranan and it stands in the name of Valliappa Chettiar, from whom the petitioner's father has purchased the said property. Thereafter, her brother died due to sudden heart-attack. On 13.08.2018, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents to reconvey the subject land, however, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2018 and pass final orders on its own merits, after hearing the petitioner as well as any other interested
parties, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
