The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.3 to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the one day hunger protest with public address system at Tuticorin, Opposite to Thoothukudi Maiyavadi situated at Service Road on 24.09.2016 based on the Representation, dated 13.09.2016 and 14.09.2016.

2. Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 4.The learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner's representations were considered and his request was rejected by the Assistant Superintendent of Police, Tuticorin on 17.09.2016, which is also received by the petitioner on 18.09.2016.

5.Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
