ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to grant permission to erect the full body bronze statue of Former Chief Minister Mr.M.Kamaraj in Survey No.281/12C1A, Mullukadu Part 1, 2.The application submitted by the petitioner is pending on the file of the first respondent seeking permission to erect the full body bronze statue of Former Chief Minister Mr.M.Kamaraj in Survey No.281/12C1A, Mullukadu Part 1, Tuticorin District. At the same time, the objection raised by the petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.5752 of 2024 is also pending on the file of the first respondent.

3.In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the third respondent after giving opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.24595 of 2023, dated 04.01.2024 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
