The petitioners have approached this Court to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.40 of 2024, on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court, Theni, on the ground of compromise among the parties. A joint compromise memo, dated 21.04.2025 is placed before this Court, by the respective parties.

2.Mr.A.S.Abul Kalaam Azad, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the first respondent and submits that apart from the defacto complainant, there are three other injured witnesses, however, without impleading them, the petitioners have moved this petition to quash the proceedings, on the ground of compromise. Therefore, the compromise memo cannot be entertained. 2/4

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to renew their application along with the compromise memo arrived with the other injured victims also.
