This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting performance of Aadal Padal on 21.01.2017 in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 10.01.2017, the petitioner has given a representation. Considering the fact that on 10.01.2017, the petitioner has given such kind of representation, the following order can be passed: https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In fine, this petition is allowed in part without cost. The second respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Pavoorchathiram Police Station, Tirunelveli District is directed to look into the representation dated 10.01.2017 alleged to have been given by the petitioner and dispose of the same, within a period of two days.
