This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2016 for inclusion of his higher qualification in his service register.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that despite the fact that the Superintending Engineer, Dindigul, vide proceedings dated 23.02.2015, instructed the Executive Engineer, Vathlakundu to include the acquired higher qualification of the petitioner in the Service Register, no steps have been taken so far for including the additional higher qualification and therefore, the petitioner is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before this Court with the relief stated supra.

4. In view of the instructions given by the Superintending Engineer, Dindigul, the respondents are directed to consider the representation dated 21.03.2016 of the petitioner in the light of the order dated 23.02.2015 passed by the Superintending Engineer, Dindigul and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
