Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner was working as Special Grade Assistant in the respondent Corporation. He retired on 31.07.2015. His grievance is that his surrender leave salary has not been settled.

3. The issue raised in the writ petition is no longer res integra. It is squarely covered by the order dated 04.10.2021 passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.(MD)Nos.1883 to 1892 of 2021.

4. Since the petitioner has approached this Court after almost nine years, interest has to be denied. The respondent / management is directed to disburse the surrender leave salary to the petitioner herein within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondents failed to disburse the same to the petitioner within the time limit mentioned above, it will carry interest from the date of the petitioner's retirement.
