Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.An order of confiscation is under challenge. It is seen that impugned order has been passed without giving any show cause notice to the petitioner under Section 6B of the Essential Commodities Act. On this sole ground, the order impugned in this writ petition is quashed and the writ petition is allowed. The respondents are having the liberty to proceed afresh in accordance with law. No costs.
