Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to rectify the survey number and extent specified in patta No.1322, Senthilampannai Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District by reversing it to S.No.66/1D instead of S.No.66/1A and 2 acres 4 cents (0-82.0 Ares) instead of 2 acres 17 cents (0-88.0 Ares) and further directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to restore the patta No.84, in respectof S.No.661/1A, Senthilampannai Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District in the name of the petitioner's father by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 06.06.2025 within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to rectify the mistake in survey number and extent specified in Patta No.
1322, Senthilampannai Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering his representation dated 06.06.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Pragalathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M. Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.A.Arul Jenifer, learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, his father, Aasirvadham Nadar, sold 2 acres 4 cents in Survey No.66/1D to one Annapooranammal under a registered sale deed dated 28.06.1991. Subsequently, the said Annapooranammal executed a Will in favour of her daughter-in-law/fifth respondent herein. Thereafter, the patta was wrongly mutated in favour of fifth respondent in respect of the property situated in Survey No.66/1A instead of Survey No.66/1D. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 06.06.2025 before the respondents 1 to 3, seeking rectification of the error in the survey number and extent mentioned in
the patta issued in favour of the fifth respondent and restoration of the patta in favour of the petitioner's father. The said representation has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered by the competent authority, namely, second respondent within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.The learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent would submit the fifth respondent shall be heard by the second respondent before passing any order on the representation submitted by the petitioner.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt
of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and fifth respondent. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
