India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent Nos.4 and 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2023 and transfer the electricity connection to the name of the Rajammal in Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple situated at Sammattipuram, Madurai.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent Nos.4 and 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2023 and transfer the electricity connection to the name of the Rajammal in Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple situated at Sammattipuram, Madurai.

2.This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission, after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3, learned Standing counsel for the respondents 4 and 5 and after dispensing with the notice on behalf of the sixth respondent, who appears to be relative of the petitioner.

3.It is the specific case of the petitioner that the electricity connection of Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple situated at Sammattipuram, Madurai, was registered in the name of the petitioner's mother namely, Rajammal and however, the same has been transferred to Rajupillai, who is the father of the sixth respondent. It is further case of the petitioner that the sixth respondent is not allowing the petitioner to offer her prayer in Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple, situated at Sammattipuram, 4.As far as the change in the name of the electricity connection from the petitioner's mother to the sixth respondent's father is concerned, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2023, after due notice to the sixth respondent. As far as prayer of the petitioner that she has to be allowed to offer her prayer in the temple festival, which scheduled to be held on 21.06.2025, is concerned, the third respondent is directed to depute suitable officer to ensure that the petitioner is allowed to offer her prayer in the aforesaid temple.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed 3/6
