Heard the learned Counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner categorically asserts that the petition mentioned lands are agricultural in character. However in the website maintained by the Registration Department, it has been shown as a residential area. If a land is shown as residential in character, then the guideline value will obviously be higher. When documents are presented for registration, the parties will have to pay higher stamp duty. Therefore classification in the records of the Registration Department is absolutely vital and significant. The first respondent is directed to cause spot inspection through the subordinate officials and if the statement of the petitioner is found to be correct, then appropriate changes will be made.
