O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's name under the land Acquisition priority category in the employment register with effect from the dated of actual acquisition i.e. From 17.09.2009.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has completed B.E.Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the year 2009 and that he is entitled to priority in employment as per G.O.Ms.No.188, P&AR Department dated 28.12.1976, as the land of his father in S.No.15/11 to the extent of 0.16.0 Hectare at Thiyanoor village was acquired by the 1st respondent herein on 17.09.2009; that the 3rd respondent also issued a certificate on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

11.01.2011 in this regard; that on the basis of the said certificate, the petitioner has sent several representations to the respondents 1 and 2, the last one of which was dated 12.12.2016, but there is no response from them till date.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 12.12.2016 is disposed of by the 2nd respondent at the earliest.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent is prepared to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass suitable orders on the same.

5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation dated 12.12.2016, submitted by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment to do so.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
