This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2016 seeking to regularize his service as Work Inspector Grade-II from 01.07.2002. 2.Heard Mr.M.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Alagadevan learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent. By consent the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.According to the petitioner, he joined as Mazdoor Grade I on 26.06.1991 in the respondent Department and the petitioner has

completed 10 years of service as Work Inspector Grade II. Even though the services of the similarly placed persons were regularized after completing 10 years by issuing several Government Orders, the case of the petitioner has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.07.2016 seeking regularization of his service as Work Inspector Grade II from 01.07.2002. As the representation has not been considered so far, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.It is agreeable for the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.07.2016 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.Accordingly, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
