The Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 17.09.2016 and respondents 6 and 7 to consider and register a case on the petitioner's complaint, dated 17.09.2016 and investigate the matter according to the law.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the second complaint, dated 17.09.2016, a case in Crime No.800 of 2016 was registered on 03.10.2016 for the offences under Sections 323, 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 and Section 4(1) of the Tamil Nadu Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1959.
5.In view of the registration of the case, no further order is necessary, and therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
