Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking a direction, directing the second respondent to grant patta to the petitioner's House situated in R.S.No.G-1/79, Vadaseri Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, within a stipulated time.

4. According to the petitioner, he has filed the application before the second respondent on 25.07.2016. But, no order has been passed by the second respondent so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 25.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.No Costs.
