Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner was licensed to collect user charges of parking vehicles from the stand located near the bus stand. Since the local body proposes to put up a new complex, the vehicle stand has been ordered to be closed. The license for running the stand is still in force. The only relief that I can grant is that the petitioner will be given preference when the fresh auction is conducted. In other words, he will be permitted to match the highest bid in the new auction.
3.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
