ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey the property situated in Survey No.178, Plot No.318, JMS Nagar, Varichiyur Village, Madurai District.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.K.M.Mohammed Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. According to the petitioner, he purchased the petition mentioned property under registered sale deed dated 14.02.1989. Patta for the said property stands in the name of the petitioner in patta No. 2240. He submitted a representation on 11.01.2024 before the respondents in application No.2024/0123/24/000917, seeking survey of the property. The said application has not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have approached this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application for survey of the properties submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the on-line application submitted by the petitioner dated 11.01.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and neighbouring land owners and other interested parties.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
