PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to initiate penal action against the third respondent for running cable operation illegally and ensure that the petitioner signal is not disturbed by the third respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2016.

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to initiate penal action against the third respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for running cable operation illegally and ensure that the petitioner signal is not disturbed by the third respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2016. 2.Heard Mr.B.Prasanna Vinoth, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.Sathishkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents and Mr.S.Anand Chandrasekar, learned Counsel appearing for the third respondent.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in the Writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after providing necessary opportunities to the petitioner and the third respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
