Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct the Kabadi competition to give adequate police protection for the District Level Kabadi Competition which is scheduled from 06.05.2017 at 11.00 p.m to 07.05.2017 at 11.00 a.m. by the YMCA Kabadi Kuzhu at Adaikalapattinam Village, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2017. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament from 06.05.2017 at 11.00 p.m to 07.05.2017 at 11.00 a.m., in YMCA Kabadi Kuzhu, Adaikalapattinam Village, Tirunelveli District, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 30.03.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs. The petitioner is directed to get proper permission from the concerned authority. After producing a copy of the same, the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 30.03.2017 and dispose of the same on merits within a period of two days.
