ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third Respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner as P.G.Assistant (Chemistry) w.e.f., 01.04.2023 in pursuant to the forwarding of the proposal by the fourth Respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 0038/A2/2024 dated 06.03.2024 to the third Respondent.
2. Heard Ms.R.Geethanjali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a P.G. Assistant in the fifth respondent School on 01.04.2023. The fifth respondent school submitted a proposal to the fourth respondent on 3/7
13.07.2023 seeking approval of his appointment as P.G. Assistant and for disbursement of grand-in-aid towards salary and the same was forwarded by the fourth respondent to the third respondent. Even though the fourth respondent forwarded the proposal, dated 06.03.2024, till date the same was kept pending before the third respondent without any consideration. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the proposal of the petitioner dated 06.03.2024 would be considered by the respondents 2 and 3 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
6. In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 herein to pass final orders in the proposal of the petitioner, dated 06.03.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and it is open to the 4/7
respondents 2 and 3 to consider the same on its own merits.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
