This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting the temple festival of Arulmighu Sri Karuppanna Swamy Temple situated at V.Karisalkulam Village, Virudhunagar District, from 09.06.2026 to 11.06.2026 based on the peace agreement deed executed between the parties.

2. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3. In view of the submissions made by either side, the third respondent is directed to forthwith conduct a peace committee meeting 2/4

today (08.06.2026) evening, by putting the petitioner as well as the rival parties on notice and thereafter take a final decision as to the conduct of the temple festival of Arulmighu Sri Karuppanna Swamy Temple situated at V.Karisalkulam Village, Virudhunagar District.
