The State represented by The Inspector of Police Puliangudi Police Station Tirunelveli District (Crime No.203 of 2016) : Respondent Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.203 of 2016 dated 02.07.2016 for the offence under Section 147, 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) I.P.C within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to file the final report before the Court in Crime No. 203 of 2016 on the file of the respondent within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 147, 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) I.P.C on 02.07.2016. Based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.203 of 2016. Even though, the case was registered in the month of July 2016, investigation has not yet been completed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

police has commenced the investigation and he will complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
