O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.) The petitioner filed this writ petition to restrain the respondents from locating a TASMAC Shop at S.No.1614/2 in Puliyur Village, Karur District.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submitted that on account of the agitation, the Tasmac shop was closed.

3.We direct the District Collector, Karur to cause inspection of the shop in question, by deputing the jurisdictional Thasildar. The Thasildar shall conduct enquiry after giving notice of inspection to the petitioner. The Thasildar shall prepare a sketch of the location in question. The sketch should contain the location of educational institutions, hospitals and other places of public importance including religious institutions and the TASMAC shop.

report and sketch and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12 April 2017.

5.The question of opening the shop should await the decision to be taken by the District Collector in the matter. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
