PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to cancel the stone quarrying License granted in favour of the ninth respondent in Na.Ka.No.140/2010, Mineral dated 12.03.2010, in respect of the Government Poromboke property comprised in Survey No.182, Chinnakaradu, Veeralapatti Village, Oddanchattram Taluk, Dindigul District.

O R D E R
*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner seeks a direction for cancelling the quarrying License issued in favour of the ninth respondent herein. The writ petitioner had already submitted a representation on 08.06.2016 in this regard.
2.A mere perusal of the materials enclosed in the typed set of papers would show that the authorities have taken some action in the matter. But the grievance of the writ petitioner is that the authorities merely initiated action but did not take any steps to conclude the same.
3.We therefore direct the second respondent to enquire into the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2016 and pass final orders in accordance with law after issuing notice to the ninth respondent. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
