This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed Under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying this Court to Grant extension of time granted in the order made in Crl.O.P.(MD) No. 21361 of 2018 dated 01.04.2019 on the file of this Honourable Court in S.C No. 158 of 2017 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Trichy to deposit the sum of Rs.3000/- before the District Legal Aid Service Authority, Trichy.

This Original Petition is filed Under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying this court to set aside the order of the Principal Sessions Judge, Trichy in Cr.M.P.No.3712 of 2018 in S.C.No.158 of 2017 dated 20.09.2018.

Order : This Original Petition is coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.N.ANANDAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to pay the cost.

2.Earlier, this Court by an order dated 01.04.2019 made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.21361 of 2018, directed the petitioner to pay a cost of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only) to the District Legal Aid Service Authority, Trichy District, on or before 05.04.2019. 3.According to the petitioner, the copy of the order was received by him only on 04.06.2019. He is not in a position to deposit the amount. Hence, he seeks extension of time to pay the cost.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, time already granted by this Court is extended by two more weeks from today (16.08.2019). The petitioner is directed to pay the cost on or before 30.08.2019.

5.Accordingly, this Petition is ordered.
