2.This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed for expediting the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.47 of 2024 on the file of the III Additional Subordinate Judge, Madurai. H.M.O.P has been filed only this year. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has concerns the High Courts from issuing directions for expeditious disposal. This is because one is not aware of the actual work load of the Court below. It is the presiding officer who has to take a call in the matter. If the proceedings or suit is more than 5 years old, then in exercise of jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the High Court will be justified in issuing direction. Since the H.M.O.P is not even one year old, I decline to issue the direction as sought for.

3.This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
