Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and measure the land of the petitioner in Survey No.8, G.R.S.No.40/6 to an extent of 2178 sq.ft., situated at Door No.4/1, Opposite to Railway Ticket Counter, Railway Station Road, 3rd Ward, Now presently 4th ward, Thirulaudappu Village, Sivagangai, Sivagangai District within the time limit prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to survey and measure the land of the petitioner in Survey No.8, G.R.S.No.40/6 to an extent of 2178 sq.ft., situated at Door No.4/1, Opposite to Railway Ticket Counter, Railway Station Road, 3rd Ward, Now presently 4th ward, Thirulaudappu Village, Sivagangai, Sivagangai District within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The petitioner filed an application on 05.08.2014 before the first respondent/Tahsildhar to measure her land situated at Door No.4/1, Opposite to Railway Ticket Counter, Railway Station Road, 3rd Ward, Now presently 4th ward, Thirulaudappu Village, Sivagangai, Sivagangai District. Though the said application is pending, the petitioner has sent a representation on 10.08.2016, to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct survey in the above said land. But, her representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

5. According to the petitioner, the civil dispute was already ended in her favour and the respondent has to survey and measure her above said land.

6. In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of case, the respondents are directed to survey and measure the above said land of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
