O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent i.e., the Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai, to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 16.11.2016 regarding inclusion of her name in the approved list of Assistant of the year 2012 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The first respondent, namely, Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.11.2016, regarding inclusion of the petitioner's name in the approved list of Assistant of the year 2012 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
