Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner is a limited company. Their account has been frozen following the complaint received from various Cyber Crime police stations throughout the country. In the writ petition, the petitioner has enclosed one communication which states that the disputed account transaction is to the tune of Rs.44,000/-. The learned Standing counsel for the bank states that the bank received as many as 8 complaints and the total value of Rs.6,45,868.

3. The respondent is permitted to retain the aforesaid sum by marking lien on the petitioner's account. Subject to such marking of lien, the petitioner is permitted to operate their bank account. The freezing effected on the petitioner's bank account is lifted to the aforesaid extent. T\his writ petition stands allowed . No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
