The petitioner, who is the sole accused in Cr.No.328 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent Police, has filed this petition to quash the said proceedings.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already filed application for regularization of his service and for other terminal benefits and he has obtained orders upto Division Bench. However, in order to defeat the claim of the petitioner, a false case has been foisted as against the petitioner that he has tampered his SSLC mark statement. He further submits that the petitioner's date of birth is 15.06.1966 and the same is also recorded in the 10th mark statement.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the petitioner's date of birth is only 15.06.1964, however, he has submitted his SSLC mark statement with date of birth as 15.06.1966. The said certificate was also verified by the Directorate of Government Exams and a letter dated 27.02.2025 has also been issued by the Joint Director addressed to the District Education Officer, Melur stating that the certificate produced by the petitioner with date of birth 15.06.1966 is forged one and they have issued the certificate only by referring the date of birth as 15.06.1964. Therefore, according to the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), there are enough material to proceed with the investigation. Further, he submits that the case in Cr.No.328 of 2025 is registered only on 21.05.
2025 and the investigation is in crucial stage and therefore, he prays to dismiss the present petition. 4.This Court has considered the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available in the record. 5.The grounds raised by the petitioner can be appreciated only during the time of investigation. It appears that the case itself was registered on 21.05.2025.

The respondent Police claims that there are enough material to proceed as against the petitioner. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition at this stage.
