ORDER

The petitioner has filed an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer under the Patta Passbook Act on 27.04.2023, as against the order passed by the Tahsildar dated 21.04.2023 and has filed this writ petition for a mandamus with a grievance that the appeal has not been taken up for hearing.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that on the appeal preferred by the petitioner, enquiry is scheduled on 04.08.2023 and that the enquiry would be completed within a reasonable time.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the parties 2/4

concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Index :
