ORDER
This Writ of Mandamus has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on the proposal submitted by the 2nd respondent vide his proceedings Na.Ka.No.W3/17926/2013 dated 03.01.2013.
2.The petitioner herein was appointed as B.T. Assistant at Adi Dravidar Welfare Department College Girls Hostel, Trichy. She retired from service 28.02.2007. Later, she was conferred with Selection Grade on 24.12.1996 by a special order dated 24.12.2006. 3.The petitioner's junior who was appointed subsequent to the petitioner on 26.12.1986 was given promotion as Middle School Headmaster on 12.09.2003. Contending that the petitioner who was having required qualification and competence, was not considered for promotion and requesting notional promotion, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.07.2013. 4.Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
5.Considering the facts alleged by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the proposal submitted by the 2nd respondent and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
