O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 17.02.2017, which was followed by representation dated 04.04.2017, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.K.Balasubramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved over the order passed by the second respondent, Chief Educational Officer, Madurai District, the petitioner preferred a statutory appeal before the first respondent on 17.02.2017. Since the appeal is not disposed of, the present Writ petition is filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal in a time frame.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader has no serious objection.

5. In the above facts and circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of by issuing a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner dated 17.02.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
