ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced the proceedings of the District Collector, Madurai. It is seen that already a proposal has been sent recommending for the payment of compensation to the petitioner. A copy of the same was also placed before this Court.

2. In the light of the above development, this Contempt Petition is disposed of with the direction to ensure that the compensation amount is paid to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
