Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of his appeal, dated 08.03.2016, within a stipulated time. 4.According to the petitioner, he has filed an appeal against the order passed by the District Registrar, Periyakulam, dated 14.09.2015, before the respondent in person on 08.03.2016. Despite receipt of the said appeal, so far the respondent is not taking any steps to dispose of the appeal. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

5. In the above circumstances, since the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner is pending before the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the appeal and pass appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders, after issuing notice to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
