Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to renovate the damaged Primary Health Sub Center, Kongampatty, Melur Taluk, Madurai district, consequently to direct the respondents to ensure the functioning the Konguvarpatty primary health sub center with all infrastructure and sanctioned staff within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.) The petitioner has come up with this public interest litigation seeking a direction to the respondents to renovate the damaged Primary Health Sub Center, Kongampatty, Melur Taluk, Madurai district and to ensure the functioning the Konguvarpatty primary health sub center with all infrastructure and sanctioned staff within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent. We have also perused the records carefully.

3. By a letter dated 05.11.2015, the 2nd respondent Deputy Director has sent a reply to the petitioner stating that for construction of a new building, proposal was sent to the Public Works Department and in the meanwhile, the Primary Health Centre is running in front of the said place belongs to the Women Self Help Group. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, stated that the respondents sought some time for renovating the said building.

4. Recording the said submission, we direct the respondents to expedite the steps and to complete the renovation work of the old building within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
