ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members in Crime No.298 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent which was registered against the petitioner's father.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father is an accused in Crime No.298 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 306 of IPC and Sections 4 and 9 of TN Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act 2003. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor(Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner's father has collected exorbitant interest from the general public and thereafter, the petitioner's father has not returned the money. He would further submit that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, enquiry was undertaken for which the petitioner was called for enquiry and other than no question of harassment was made to the petitioner. 4.It appears that to find out the where aborts of petitioner's father, the enquiry was made by the second respondent upon the petitioner herein and other than that no harassment was made. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Crl.O.P(MD).No.13535 of 2021 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as I find no merits in the petition.
