ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents to expedite the investigation in Crime No.02 of 2020 dated 03.01.2020 on the file of the 3rd respondent police and to file final report within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed, final report is made ready and the same was forwarded to the District Collector for his approval.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.13536 of 2021 3.A copy of the letter dated 28.01.2021 has been circulated before this Court. It clearly shows that the final report was forwarded to the District Collector for his approval. 4.Since the investigation has been completed and closure report was also filed, nothing survives for further consideration and direction in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the contention raised in the final report, he can to workout the remedy through proper proceedings before the concerned Court. With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
