ORDER
When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner's representation, seeking to cancel the patta granted in the name of the third and fourth respondents, had already been considered by the competent authority, namely, the Tahsildar, second respondent herein and rejected the claim of the petitioner. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that liberty may be given to the petitioner to workout his remedies before the appellate authority under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act.

W.P.(MD)No.16882 of 2020 3.In view of the above factual narrative, this Court does not think that the Writ Petition to be entertained any longer. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act and invoking writ jurisdiction is not the appropriate remedy for him. 4.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
