ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that his two daughters Vaishnavi, aged 20 years and Sashinivi aged 7 years went missing from 20.07.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure them. 2.Today, Mr.Thirupathi, Sub Inspector of Police, Thogamalai Police Station, Karur, is present.

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Thogamalai Police Station Crime No.271/2022 was registered for 'woman and girl missing'. In such view of the matter, this petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kulithalai Sub Division, Karur to supervise the investigation that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Thogamalai

Police Station Crime No.271/2022 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when Vaishnavi and Sashinivi are secured, they may be produced before the Judicial Magistrate, No.I, Kulithalai, under intimation to the petitioner and the learned Magistrate may pass appropriate orders with regard to custody.
