O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection basing on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2023.

2. The petitioner and his father allegedly in possession of immovable properties since long time, however, one Ammaponnu, Valli and Ranjitham have been claiming tenancy rights over the said property and hence, the petitioner gave a representation for police protection.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the other hand, submits that basing on the representation dated 24.04.2023, the police stated to have registered C.S.R.No.949 of 2023 and conduct inquiry, wherein, the said Ammaponnu, Valli and Ranjitham have reported the police that they are having tenancy rights in respect of lands which are allegedly in possession of the petitioner. Accordingly, the inquiry was closed on 05.07.2023 directing both the parties to approach the civil Court.

4. Since the representation given by the petitioner has already been closed holding that the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature, this petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the civil court in case if there is any dispute.
