O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property measuring to an extent of 1.07 Acre comprised in Survey No.195/4 among other properties situated at Reddimangudi Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District.
2. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, stated that the lands had already been surveyed 2 years before but a report could not be given since the adjacent land owners did not co-operate for completing the survey.
3. A direction is issued to the respondents to find out the nature 2/5
of objections and if required, take the assistance of the third respondent and endeavour to measure the land. If the objections, after verification, require further examination of facts, then a report in this regard shall be filed by the first respondent, the Tahsildar, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District. If the objections are cursory in nature, the lands shall be surveyed in accordance with the rules and regulations. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
