Respondents Prayer: This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 herein to take appropriate action against the 3rd respondent, who is President of Asian Federation for Independent Pentecostal Churches, Head Office situated at No.61, Ezhil Nagar, Keeranur, Pudukkottai District in accordance with the powers conferred under the Tamil Nadu Societies Act by considering their representations dated 21.11.2016 and 06.02.2017. The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to take action against the third respondent based on their representations dated 21.11.2016 and 06.02.2017.

2.The grievance of the petitioners is that the third respondent had collected more than Rs.1,85,00,000/-, but he has not rendered proper account from 2012 onwards. Though the petitioners lodged a complaint against the third respondent and sent representations dated 21.11.2016 and 06.02.2017, so far no action has been taken. 3.Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and the second respondents on instructions would submit that the second respondent had acted upon the complaint of the petitioners and also sought report from the Sub-Registrar, Keeranur. He further submitted that the enquiry will be completed within the time frame and also issue notice to the third respondent. 4.In view of the above submissions and the prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the other parties concerned, if any.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
