ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant 21 days Ordinary Leave without police escort to the petitioner's son namely Anbu @ Anburaj, S/o.Selvaraj, convict prisoner, PID No.352752 confined at Central Prison, Trichy on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 28.03.2025. 2.Heard Mr.K.A.S.Prabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Thiruvadikumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and that orders will be passed within a period of one week.
4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 28.03.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
