The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3, on the communication of the first respondent, dated 20.03.2019, to name Madurai Airport as Goddess Meenakshi Airport of Madurai, by passing a resolution in the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, on the petitioner's representations, dated 01.03.2019 and 01.04.2019. 2.The prayer sought for by the petitioner is in the nature of a Mandamus, directing the Legislative Assembly to pass a Legislation, for which, this Court has no power. Hence, this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed.
3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
