This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.08.2016 under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and Rules 2005 as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions would submit that three earlier complaints given to the third respondent police were enquired and closed and now, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the second respondent has issued notice to the parties fixing the date of enquiry on 13.10.2016.

4. Considering the nature of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the second respondent shall dispose of the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.08.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, without taking note of the closure of earlier complaints, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
